Media Advisory: The Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities (Alliance) is kicking off a virtual fundraising event, Shatter the Stigma 2020, on Aug. 31, International Overdose Awareness Day, to help fund its efforts during these unprecedented times in assisting families with substance misuse prevention, recovery and wellness. The fundraiser runs through September, which is National Recovery Month.
